Frequently Asked Questions
1. What can I expect from the consultation session and what will I get?
Our goal is to equip you with the ability to enter prestigious universities and find your goal in life. In addition to understanding your current selected subjects, grades, and extracurricular activities, the tutors will also help you uncover your career goal that suits you by having a deep understanding of your passion. The agencies in the market usually provide their service by just identifying what abilities you are lacking to go to the university you wish to go rather than find the universities to actually suit you.
2. What is student - parent - teacher consultation?
Usually, parents have limited understandings of the university or major that students want to study, and students also don’t know what plans and expectations their parents have; therefore, our professional counselors will be the bridge between the two sides. After understanding down to the core of each other's ideas in detail, combined with the real-time situation, we can then give more suitable solutions.
For example: students may be interested in programming, but their parents expect them to study in the Department of Medicine; hence, the counselors may recommend Engineering, because doctors will rely on big data and artificial intelligence to help them with their diagnostics ten years later.
Using the method above, provide various information to help children choose the right department and career development.
3. What is the term of Path Finder?
We combine academic counseling and career planning together because the choice of the field of studies is closely related to career development, but the academic counseling and career planning offered in school are separated, which makes students unable to understand what they are studying; what’s the relationship between my subjects and my future work, and what my passion is.
4. What’s the Importance of Path Finder course?
The essays and interviews for applying to universities must enclose clear and specific evidence related to your selected majors. Only then can you convince yourself and the interviewer that you did not choose this university and department merely because of the ranking and reputation of the school. In addition, if you figure that you have chosen the wrong department in your freshman year, it is usually impossible to transfer your major that belongs to a different discipline.
